We see woodpeckers and all species for the first time. No mess, and underneath is a cake stand. rejects protein. The fun is worth the money.

This is perfect for my round lard hanger and the birds love it! Good and durable. Only lost a few seeds when opening. Each one replaces the 4-5 small cylinders I usually buy.

Just ordered more. The birds love it and I use it in the ERVA round feeder. Small birds eat easily. Large bully birds cannot reach the cylinder. Red-bellied woodpeckers, downy woodpeckers, and catbirds can get inside when they are young.

All the suckling birds seem to like it, but especially the fluffy, hairy, and red-bellied (pictured) woodpeckers I get every day. Sometimes I get a hairy woodpecker. I've never caught woodpeckers with just sunflower seeds, but it makes a world of difference, especially during our northern Michigan winter.

The birds liked the top hat, but unfortunately so did the bees. I had to take it off because the wasps swarmed and prevented the birds from eating. I don't know if it was the stuff they use to hold the cylinder together or if it was the real stuff inside, but I won't be able to use it until cold weather comes.

I usually buy from my local bird shop but they got so expensive I went shopping. I was happy to see that these high quality cylinders were $3 less than what I paid and with free shipping I see no reason to shop locally. Now, when I find "No Mess" seeds under $35 for £20, I say goodbye to my bird shop.

There are two cylinders in this order. I bought "similar" cylinders so I decided to try these. First one was half crushed so I poured the seeds into an open feeder. This was done before shipping. There is also a mesh pocket in the middle in case you don't have a stand. When I pulled it out, chunks of spoiled nuts and seeds came out. It's been hanging for two weeks now and even squirrels won't eat it. Sometimes birds land on it and I see the seeds fall to the ground. Don't waste your money on…
