It's true, this backpack really smells like fish. I've had it for over 2 weeks now and the bag still smells fishy even though I left it open outside and sprayed it with Febreze. I don't know how long it takes for the smell to go away or if it goes away at all. Too bad because it's a beautiful bag and durable.

This bag is the perfect size for a handbag, not too big but fits my journal, wallet, full pack of sanitizing wipes, glasses, keys, phone and some extra space. I like the zipper on the back so it's anti-theft when travelling. I also like that it has both a single shoulder strap and backpack straps so I can easily carry it on any occasion. The color is the same as the picture and I have had this bag for several months now, using it daily and the material has not completely worn out.

This bag is perfect for everyone. The colors are a little lighter than the pictures and the size is perfect; not too small and certainly not too big. There are small zippered storage pockets on each side of the bag that can hold the equivalent of a sunglass case, as well as regular patch pockets. If I have any issues, it's that the main part of the bag opens at the back. It's a little uncomfortable, but also safe for those with sticky fingers. This bag is perfect. Its size is great. I'm a 5'5" woman and the bag fits my back perfectly and complements my body well. It's smooth and doesn't have too much depth/bulk on the side. It carries everything I need. I have this one Pattern chosen because it's unassuming and goes best with casual wear without giving too much 'look.'
