I have a young male dog

He gives me all sorts of problems when I try to potty train him. As a last resort I have ordered a fire hydrant to be fitted in the back and I will have it within a week. Then I squirt that cum up, down and all around. Maybe Tucker will understand. I have used attractant potty liners on another dog and they seem to have worked. If it works I will change the stars.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Only available in black

Smells terrible, but WORKS!

The smell of this thing is absolutely depressing. Even before we opened the package, we could smell it. It's like. stale, sun-roasted horse urine. BUT. IT REALLY WORKS. We train our pup to use a small patch of grass in our home with about a 25% success rate. Within 2 days of using this spray, she used the herbal patch 75% of the time. A week later she ONLY uses the patch! Plug your nose, light a candle, spray some fever, whatever. It was worth it.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Some flaws

Smells like a zoo in repellent

It works. But it stinks like caged zoo animals. You don't need a 16oz bottle or worse, 2 16oz bottles. They made a deal for 2 bottles and I bought it but I will never need that many. Small things have a big impact. My 8 week old puppy no longer lies on pillows and instead urinates on them. I can't wait to stop using this spray and pads. The smell permeates the whole room, although I only apply it to the pad once and it stays on the pad until you throw it away.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Expensive

Yes, it WORKS, but.

Does it work? Yes. Outdoor use is probably more appropriate, although I've read some reviews that say it will attract wildlife to your yard. I used ONLY one portion and when the pup smelled it, he peed…

Wear gloves. Oh god, put on gloves. WHERE ARE THE GLOVES?!?!

If I had to buy again, I would buy a smaller bottle. The smell was strong, I wouldn't say overpowering, but it only lasted about an hour outside. It initially helped my pup go outside but with lesser results. I would use this with treats if they are really doing their thing. I have used two different bottles of this brand but both had the same problem. After a few squeezes, the nozzles failed and a horribly smelly juice poured out at the top as it sprayed. Unless you want to explain why your…

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Bottle drips heavily

I use this product in my garden to keep voles, rabbits, squirrels and deer away. I don't know if it has much effect. I use many different methods and still have problems with pests. This product has a very strong odor, like over-concentrated animal urine. Stay outdoors for several days. The big problem with this is that the atomizer is of poor quality and drips when spraying. The awful smell stays on my hands for hours no matter how many times I wash. This happened with every bottle bought…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

DO NOT SPRAY INTO HOUSE

OMFG, this product smells VERY BAD. It's actually worse than my dog's urine, which I prefer to this smell. When I tell you I once squirted him on the mat where I train him, my whole house smells like that garbage. THE WHOLE HOUSE OF STINS. I thought it would go away once it dries and only a dog could smell it with its dog nose, no! The smell is still strong the next day. And guess what? The dog peed somewhere else anyway! I guess he doesn't like her smell either. It's literally like bottled…

Pros
  • It's OK!

SURPRISE PUPPIES: Dogs

This stuff. All. Don't stand downwind when you spray it because you will NEVER get the smell out of your nostrils. Not sure why this particular purchase had at least two bottles, but it was shrink-wrapped and packaged well. I left a bottle on the counter and went outside to spray because we currently have three 60 lb six month old puppies who haven't quite figured out what potty outside is yet. The smell lasts for weeks. Big. The puppies are still dumb and haven't quite mastered it yet - but…

That does not work. At least for my pup.

I sprayed the pee pads and let them dry outside for about an hour (because the smell is not very pleasant) and put them (where I usually put them) and NOTHING. My 2 dogs are older than a 9 week old puppy. I tried again without letting it air out, thinking maybe going outside would lessen the appeal of the smell. I did but my pup didn't care. Anyway little fella so low to the ground I know he couldn't help but smell it especially after I repainted it indoors (DRAG) to hopefully give a better…
