Excellent DIY tool, the best among brake flare tools

Not a professional but a DIY, attractive with low tool cost. Tools that are cheap and really work? Well that's a blessing. Thanks for providing it, I think it worked great. Pay attention to a right-angled, burr-free pipe cut. Make sure the inside is square and free of burrs. I added some lube to the tube and die resulting in a damn good bladder flange. Good luck everyone, I appreciate it. I didn't appreciate the durability as I've only just started using it. I will add that it takes a little…

Good set just one complaint

Good set for making proper bubbles. Don't risk it with a dual torch tool. The tip is screwed into the pressure part of the tool so that it is pressed down evenly. The tip itself shows no signs of wear after about 20 flashes, so it's decent quality metal. I redid all the brake lines on my car and not a single flare has leaked. Follow the instructions. Always cut the end of the brake line. By chamfering I mean smoothing the edges so the tool slides over the edges instead of cutting into them as…

Perfect and cheap. Best in Tools and Equipment

Did the job for a Buick I replaced all the brake lines. None of the highlights made by this tool have been leaked; The only leak is a reverse connection I made with another tool that was fixed with a quick loosen/retighten. I always take great care that the lines are cut and sanded with a pipe cutter. To make them flat I place the tube in the clamp block just above the surface and use a file to align the end flush with the clamp block. Then I round off slightly and sand the ends. It takes a lot

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Works great, worth every penny

If you need a brake line expander this is the tool. I've watched a few YouTube videos claiming that people are using the double highlight tool to achieve the same effect. It's bullshit. I've tried this a few times and it's been a miserable failure each time. This tool is exactly what you need to create perfect bubbles every time. On the advice of my local auto parts manager, I played around with the dual torch for over an hour and couldn't get it to work properly. With this tool, I got the job…

This tool WORKS! fits brake flare tool

This Neiko metric bladder flare tool worked great! I am restoring an old SUV called "BURRO" made from various VW Beetle and Bus suspension parts from the early 60's. Mine has been uncoated in the field for 8 years so everything is rusty, frozen or corroded so rebuilding the entire brake system is a must and the Neiko tool allows me to custom make steel brake lines that look like "standard" in fit the car. The bow brake lines are too long and require cutting and reworking the bubble flares to…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other tools
