don't have a hex shank. One thing to note is that your screwdriver/drill must be able to stop the hex shank from rotating in order to tighten the chuck - there is nothing on the chuck to tighten it. One of my drill/screwdrivers can do it, the other doesn't have enough resistance to tighten the drill chuck. If you can manually rotate something in your drill/screwdriver, this chuck probably isn't for you.

Worth buying for me

I have a cordless impact wrench but all my drills are plugged in. For jobs where I can drill holes with an impact wrench (not the best method I know of), this is a really good, inexpensive way to expand the usefulness of this single tool. aggressive drilling in the wall mount, which enabled the smack function a bit. When I was done, the drill bit was very well seated in the chuck (although not damaged). I had to take everything apart to get it but it was easy to put back together and still…

Small but useful item for power tool parts and accessories

This device works great if you don't put anything of any size in it. The jaws slide back when you unscrew them, but they don't slide all the way out of the hole. Just because the shaft looks small enough to fit the hole doesn't mean it will actually fit the nocks. However, this is not a major complaint; I bought this chuck to fit on the end of the extension so I can use smooth shank drill bits. I wasn't expecting to load big bits into it. So it serves its purpose well. You should always connect

Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

This chuck was purchased to allow the use of drill bits smaller than 1/16 inch (approx. 1.59 mm). My normal drill chuck will not grip these small diameter drill bits. My first use of the chuck was to drill holes with a 1.2mm (about 3/64 inch) drill bit. The drill "pivoted" about 10-15% off center despite being correctly centered in the collets of the chuck. Also, the collets seem to "get stuck" in the closed position when the chuck is loosened to extract the bit. I have to tap on the collets to

Favorable price = CHEAP CHUCK

You have to remember that you mustn't open too much with this cartridge, otherwise it will fall apart. = 4th photo. There are no flats on the shank of the threaded part, to tighten the wrench for maximum tightening you need a vise or use a vise = hand tightening comes loose quickly. It's scaled down - functional design and quality. (Made in Taiwan) You can see the wobble when you turn it, and while it's not REALLY bad, the drilling isn't entirely accurate or true. For this price you can not…

Great idea with bad execution.

I've had mine for about 2.5 years. It finally broke so it's time to write a review. I bought it to be able to attach standard drill bits to the end of a 1/4" flexible bit extension to work in hard-to-reach places. The claw tips are broken. Pros: * It's as compact as it gets * Lasts 2.5 years with heavy use * Holds smaller drill bits well * Works fairly reliably Cons: * There is no reliable way to grab the body to get leverage against the ammo This can result in that the drill bits come loose or
