Original replacement, second prize

These are replacement magnets for a 2013 Mazda 3 with a 2.0L Skyactiv engine and are much cheaper than Mazda branded magnets made by NGK which are identical to these. We strongly recommend purchasing 14mm thin magnetic walls. deep socket to install these plugs.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Very good offer! Do it yourself for more savings!

The dealer charges $25 each and then when you have a binder you put it in for another $100 or more. Do yourself a favor and install them yourself if you can! I can't honestly rate their mileage or durability as I just installed them but I believe they will last as long or even longer than the OEM models that came from the factory.

Replacement plug for 2012 Mazda 3 Skyactive

Bought these for my 2012 Mazda 3. I was a bit hesitant to buy them because the connector number has changed from the original ones. I wasn't sure if they were correct until I found a forum to back it up. They were very easy to swap out and worked great. The clearance is a little bigger than the original, but everything seems fine. starts and runs well and I've even noticed a slight increase in fuel consumption.

Great Plugs: Spark Plugs

OEM replacement for 2014 Mazda CX-5 2.5L engine. You need a 9/16 socket (NOT a 5/8 socket which 99% of cars use). Changing the connector takes a maximum of 10 minutes. All you need is a ratchet, a 6" extension and a 9/16 socket. If you're really picky use a torque wrench to torque the new ones to spec, but I just hand tighten them. No anti- Use seize. Make sure the engine is completely cold. Putting cold spark plugs on a hot engine makes it easier to remove the threads in the cylinder block. I…

Fits 2014 Mazda 3 Skyactiv 2.0

Engine started right after replacement, slightly more responsive than the 75,000 mile spark plugs that came in from the factory. The price couldn't be lower, Mazda dealers want to use OEM spark plugs at $25 each, but they seem like the perfect replacement for OEM quality. Box (no torque wrench required). A 14mm socket for removing spark plugs. It may be worth buying a special spark plug socket as the plugs are recessed into the valve cover. I used a short rubber hose to pull/insert the plugs…

  • Decent performance

Great replacement for the Mazda6.

modified spark plugs Mazda 6 2014 for 90k in addition. It definitely runs smoother and I really think it helped reduce my gas mileage by 1-2mpg. Clearance was identical to OE spark plugs when checked with precision feeler gauges. Should have been changed at 70,000 as suggested in the owner's manual. My dealer didn't even mention it. I used this socket https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071W7XZZ4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. If you have a 14mm deep head to break them in, I've…

OEM exact replacement 2016 Mazda CX-5

I was looking for spark plugs as the dealer wanted to charge me $270 for replacing the spark plug and treating the fuel system. It sounded expensive to me. It was a great price, $40 for a box of 4. I also bought the outlet mentioned on the other poster as I didn't have the exact size. I went to YouTube to find out how to access it. It's very easy to pull the engine cover straight up to see it. I have replaced them all and when I pulled out the used plugs (90k miles) they have the same model…

  • Sturdy construction

  • So far so good

Works perfectly in 2013 Mazda 3 Skyactiv

I decided to replace my own spark plugs after a local Mazda dealer offered me over $250 to do it with very overpriced Mazda brand spark plugs. After searching the internet for 5 minutes I found it very easy and MUCH cheaper to do it myself. The mechanic recommended I use the NGK brand, they say Skyactiv engines are picky about spark plugs (maybe why Mazda spark plugs are over $30 each?). These spark plugs worked GREAT in my 2013 Mazda 3 Skyactiv 2.0G. a special metal coating on the threads so…

All you need to know about spark plugs

I cannot stress enough how important it is to use a proven high quality spark plug like this NGK Iridium in our new vehicles. On older cars built before 1996, the decision to replace the spark plug was important, but not as critical as it is on newer cars today. Today's modern engines are so complex that using a lower quality part or a slightly different design than original equipment can cause major problems. it was for me In a nutshell. I bought an unnamed plug. Yes it was Iridium and yes…
