Not as bright as I was hoping

I was really hoping they would be brighter than they are. While they give off good light and a good light pattern, they aren't as bright as I was hoping. I installed them after being caught reversing in the middle of the night because there was no room to turn and the factory reverse lights just couldn't handle it. Although I think next time they will give enough light to make it easier, I would like them to be brighter. Time will tell if it was a good investment or not. Easy to fit and also…

Watch out for build issues.

Ease of installation is subjective. I put my F-150 in the rear bumper. Therefore, cutting square holes is tedious and time-consuming. The wiring is straight. Light quality. The two screws in a lantern holding the outer cover were striped. I used JB Weld in the final build. The other light was ok. Ford reverse lights are not bright. Also the camera does not work well at night. Especially in dark places with little or no other lighting. This light is HUGE. So far the water resistance seems to be…

So far so good - Updated

As recommended by others, I immediately applied silicone sealant to both the gasket and the inside of the case. After a few weeks I no longer noticed any moisture on the rear bumper of my JKU! I'm pretty sure that wouldn't have happened without silicone. Brightness is what you'd expect, and it's as bright as my $100+ buddies with Quadratec. A month later: They survived very rainy weather. recently and still no moisture. It was a very wet winter and we only had a foot of snow. still no moisture!

So far I'm very happy with the headlights

Headlights arrived quickly and well packaged/protected. Very impressed with the overall quality of the light. Very durable and well built. All-aluminum body. Don't let the price fool you. So far I'm very happy with the light. It came with mounting hardware, but I decided to replace it with button hardware for a cleaner look (see one of the pictures). Installed the headlights in the rear bumper of a 2013 F150, ran the wires to the relay and 3-way switch (they either stay off all the time when…

Bright enough good for light strips

The first thing I did when I got them was take them apart to make sure they were waterproof. The first one came apart relatively easily and I was able to fix it with RSV sealant. The second will not fall apart; Hex head screws are overtightened at the factory. I could only add RSV on the outside. Let's see how they hold up. The punch holes in the bumper were just as amazing as I imagined, as was the wiring in the front and in the cabin. The whole work took about three and a half hours, I took…

No complaints about fittings and lighting accessories

1. These things are not perfect. From the start I voided their BS warranty by removing the bezel and applying a drop of sealant to ensure it was water resistant. They do have a gasket around the lens, but it doesn't appear to be waterproof. I made a small injector and filled the strain relief on the back of the canopy with caulk. Now no water/moisture can penetrate into the light block. 2. If you do what I did, be very careful when removing and reinstalling hardware. The lightweight case's…
