    Small wooden tunnel

    Bought this to try as chewing gum for my rats. The product came just like the picture and in great shape. The bark was a bit scaly on the outside, but nothing special. Very low weight and very small tunnel area. My rats didn't care at all and didn't get into the tunnel. The product was very good just not for what I need it for. Recommended for small rodents.

    Great for gerbils

    This is a GREAT item for your gerbils to run, hide and chew through while digging. Remember, gerbils MUST burrow, and they need LOTS of bedding in a deep tank to do so. This log was perfect as it landed underneath and became part of their track system. They also need to chew on hard wood to keep their teeth short and this is perfect for that and actually lasts long if you have other chew toys in your tank. EXCELLENT ARTICLE!

    Fantastic tunnel but not for Syrians

    I bought this tunnel for my Syrian hamster Paul Simon. It went into him as soon as I put it in his tank, but once it went through one of the holes it definitely got tight. He got out, but right after that I pulled out of the tunnel. He's not a big hamster, he just has a lot of fur. My other Syrian is much larger and definitely wouldn't fit at all. That would be great for dwarf hamsters though! (Photos by Paul Simon for reference as I don't have him in the tunnel. He has food in his cheeks.)

    Think or shrink. . .

    Someone took a great idea and scaled it down. Too small for parrots. and I wondered how tiny was this poor little mouse? I understand that lumber prices have skyrocketed lately, but that requires big openings. I left mine shrink wrapped for fear my parrots would get stuck in it. If you have a drill press you could help it out a bit, but there's not much room to experiment with this idea. Great concept for most small pets, but if you don't have small lizards you should probably make your own.

    Too small for a gerbil, got stuck in it

    Well made and good price but too small/has too many random holes and therefore very unsafe for our gerbil. One of our gerbils stuck its head in from one side hole, its leg in the other side hole, and its rear end from below. I'm so thankful that I saw it and was able to help her, I can't imagine what would have happened to her if I hadn't been there. I would recommend this for mice but definitely not for anything else.     I am very glad I bought this tunnel for my little mouse like the Chinese hamster (with a 1 inch tail). The holes are big enough for her to fit through and the wood is very nice and soft. There weren't any splinters on it at all and it appears it will tear, not splinter. I think it's a very safe toy and she likes it a lot.     The holes are very round

    I bought this for my daughter's gerbils: Dino, Tony and Marco. As with most rodents, gerbils' teeth continue to grow and they need something hard to chew on to wear down those teeth.     Far too small cheaply made

    I bought a dwarf hamster wheel and water bottles, water bottles are for mice not for hamsters, the wheel works fine, the thing is complete crap. It was so cheap it made him awful.
