You get what you pay for

Pump not made and also genuine Ford part, aftermarket part was cheaper in price but ended up paying extra for the original

There is no electrical connection, I cannot connect it.

Supplied without a specific plug for electrical connection. How am I supposed to install a vacuum pump on a diesel truck if the pump and bracket don't come with a pigtail to connect? Very disappointed

Cheap cheap cheap - tools and equipment

I installed this pump on my 2005 F350. Stopped working after a few months. I went back and replaced that pump and here we are again a few months later and it's not working. Don't waste your time buying this product. Spend your money and get something that will last.

Made a vacuum to pump the brakes. Barely vacuum 15 with bypassed control device.

Looks good, but I have a wire that has come loose. I bypassed the vacuum controller but the unit only drew 12 to 15 on my gauge. I don't know the specifications of the car system. This does not evacuate the AC system! I use it as a switchable vacuum source to bleed the brakes. My hands are tired from vacuuming with a hand pump! Runs great on a 12 volt, 7 amp rechargeable battery. There are no wires or connectors, but pins from a computer wiring harness were used. Grumpy46

Not a very happy or satisfied customer!

Not sure if it broke before delivery or during delivery, but the part was broken when I took it out of the box. Now that everything is very painful, I had to repackage the product, print a return label and drive 20 minutes to the nearest UPS store. Doesn't seem like much, does it? Well, for a 100% disabled veteran who is in pain just moving around my house, that's a big deal. Kind of defeats the purpose of ordering the parts. In fact, I had to swim past an auto parts store to get to the UPS…
