Great if you love chrome flakes in your drink

Worked great a couple of times until the chrome finish on the pick started chipping and sticking to the ice which I didn't notice while I had it until then Chrome paint is peeling off in my drink. Gross and probably unhealthy. It can't be stainless steel. Most likely it's carbon steel and obviously chrome plated. I'm not sure why real stainless steel ice axes are so hard to find as there are several models on Revain that claim to be SS but aren't. For those interested in buying outside of…

Make other selections: Ice Crushers

Received my ice ax today. The first sign I wasn't going to be happy was that the package had already been opened. It was clear that someone had opened the package and sent it back. It's disappointing but I looked at the selection and it looked new, not boring and well done. So at first I decided to let it go. I took out the pickaxe bag and went to put it on the pickaxe. that does not fit. The wooden dowel with the hole drilled in it to hold the lock pick was not drilled to the right size so the

Well made, attractive and comes with a nice case

All we needed was a work tool, a simple ice pick and I was pleased when this product arrived. It's hard to believe that a product this good costs less than $5! It's well designed, with a stainless steel pick and a metal cap on top so you can tap it with a hammer or other hard object if the ice is REALLY hard. The metal cap is slightly larger than an ice ax handle, and I found that if I missed with the tool I was hammering the ice ax with, I was less likely to hit the hand holding the ice ax as…
