Great - NOT great! (updated)

(updated) 06/08/20 - Unfortunately I've raised it from 5 stars to 2 stars if you put it on your face. So the return window no longer looks for warranty information. If you pay $100 for a pair of sunglasses, they should last you 5+ months. And I thought that the children themselves will break them. Very disappointed Oakley. Husband liked her very much. He hasn't had a pair of Oakleys since high school and was happy with them! He has a wider face and they fit great.

Pros
  • plastic lens
Cons
  • money box price

They must be fakes

When you buy an expensive branded product like Oakley, you expect a higher level of quality. It's not these sunglasses. The film is washable after less than 3 months with moderate use. Now they are completely useless. I used to have Oakleys. Real business costs money. These must be fakes. I've had the best results with my $25 Tofosi shadow.

Pros
  • Polarized 100% UV protected Lens width: 60.8mm Bridge: 16mm Temples: 133mm Case included Prescription lenses (ready to receive) Valve durable Lightweight and durable frame for all day comfort
Cons
  • Multiplier Set

Pretty good for the price

Bought these by mistake, planning to return based on some reviews but out of the box these things aren't that bad for the price. They're a little bigger than I'm used to from other Oakley glasses, but they fit my face perfectly. The lenses are polarized and the frames appear to be the same as all other types of Oakley plastic frames. I definitely recommend them.

  • Made in USA

Lower price means lower quality

I had a pair of $180 Oakleys that I bought at a general store and they looked very similar to these so I was thrilled when I got one got a new pair for less than half price. However, there are differences - they are poorly ventilated and my eyes tend to sweat, so the lenses get dirty quickly. The lenses also feel cheap and the rubber protector on one of the levers has come loose and won't stay in place for long. I doubt they even come close to the quality of my old pair that failed and ticked…

Pros
  • Made in the USA
Cons
  • This worries me
