My unit died yesterday after having owned it for less than a year

I bought this unit from Revain on 09/26/2019. I don't like the fact that I turned it on yesterday 30th August 2020 and nothing happened. He was dead. The possibility of contacting the manufacturer does not seem to be available to me. Will Revane take him back? Most likely not. Do not buy this product because if the product fails, the Chinese manufacturer will hide behind a wall of only Chinese.

The first had a problem; Replacement works fine

There was a weird problem with the first one I got - it only saw the first 320GB of the drive. A 320 GB hard drive is read correctly. If the drive was 1TB, it would not mount due to low-level drive errors. After reformatting, you'll get a working hard drive, but it's only 320GB. It was a strange problem. I almost sent it back for the money but in the end I decided to give it another try. I'm glad I did because the second one works great!

In general everything is fine - HDD cage

I bought this HDD cage to access data from another HDD. Connects fairly easily, but sometimes doesn't recognize drives in the bay when my iMac is on. It is claimed to have cloning capabilities but I haven't tried it yet. The inconsistent detection bothers me so much that I don't want to risk losing my data. In general, this is a normal device for me, since I do not access the data on the disk it contains very often. However, if you need it for frequent data access, you might want to reconsider…

WORKS PERFECTLY!

I work very well "OUT OF THE BOX" in my large HP Z820 with USB 2 or USB 3 connection No software required. I have 1TB 7200K Speed HD in it. i have blue color The case feels very good, but I wouldn't mind dropping it on the floor because the case feels and feels thin and delicate. This will likely damage a standard (laptop) hard drive. Cheap price and works perfectly. I use it as a backup for my daily documents. I recommend it. I also tried this on my Microsoft Surface Pro 4 laptop with a solid…

Works like a champ!

As a techie, I've always opted for Sabrent or StarTech docking stations over the years, but for something as simple as a single bay SATA docking station, I decided to save a few bucks and do this to try - something new. I had a bunch of old drives (2.5" HDD, 3.5" HDD and SSD) that I wanted to recover data from and this little guy got me flying right away. It installed all of my drives within seconds of turning it on and the transfer speed was decent and consistent. After 6 hours of intensive…

Damaged two of my SSDs.

I connected an HDD and an SSD to it and only the HDD was recognized. Reading was relatively slow for a hard drive, but after cataloging it worked. It confirmed my SSD was connected with the normal plug and play beep, but nothing showed up in Windows Explorer. After removing the SSD I used the enclosure I used previously and the drive no longer showed up in Windows Explorer. I wasn't sure what was going on so I plugged in my other SSD and it read fine. First. When I tried to transfer some files…

Entire hard drive damaged

I've been using this docking station for almost two months now and was initially satisfied but over time I've noticed strange things. When transferring large files, the speed of all attached drives fell to 0 MB/s at random intervals for up to 30 seconds and then returned to full speed. I thought, well, at least it works. Then I noticed that when two drives were connected at the same time and I started a file transfer that lasted more than a minute, the drive became completely unresponsive and…
