The Ordinary Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane 30ml Review

This item is clearly fake. There is no product number or expiration date. The consistency, smell and formula are different from other products I have had. You can buy the real product from Ulta or Sephora for around $7.90.

That's fine but I'm looking for something innovative for my thirsty and toasted 4 a/b coils. Your mileage can be very good. I've added it to some of my daily oil blends and used it alone and didn't notice a difference.

I've never tried Regular before so I was surprised lol. I have very sensitive skin and rarely get breakouts and my skin gets pretty dry after showering (probably my fault for using hot water). I was oddly expecting this to magically help my dry skin, not sure why. To a certain extent this is true, but not quite, the skin is left moisturized and soft. I am very happy that it has no smell and I noticed that when I use it on my hair it is very healthy.

I bought Squalene from Deciem in New York and Ulta and never had a timing problem this time so I bought from Revain. When I first opened the product and applied it to my skin I honestly thought it was just water in a bottle. Didn't moisten at all. It was very runny and runny, like someone took 1/4 real squalene and mixed it with water. It had no odor (like water) that has the basic odor of squalene. For comparison, I add the products by hand. This is a very thick oil that is applied to the face. I use it to sleep. It's moisturizing but I'm not sure I would buy it again. I'll finish the product I bought, but I feel like I can find a lotion that moisturizes just as well and isn't as thick and greasy.

Unlike many sunscreens, there was no white residue and my sensitive skin (very fair, red) tolerated the lotion. I never felt like my skin was hydrated and when half the product was left the pump stopped working completely. I tried adding some vitamin E oil thinking it would be more hydrating and allow the pump to work without getting clogged with such a thick product. Oh my god, this thing is liquid gold. I've had issues with eczema or oral/facial dermatitis and this stuff works amazing! It doesn't have any crazy stuff either. Win.
