Pay attention to the sizes: Girls

Actually it was a good quality product but they didn't have a good explanation of the sizes. I bought the X-Small/Small for my 4 year old and it's too small. I think it's good for 2-3 years.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Unreliable

Super quality, thick material.

Thicker than I expected but still very pretty. Excellent quality. Bought for my 7 year old but it was a bit tight for him. Good fit for my 4 year old so I kept it anyway. Perfect for playing in the snow on a cold MN winter day.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Good product for girls

outdoor research makes good products. They fit as expected and are quite warm. The material is flexible and gentle, allowing it to retain heat while still conforming to the head. Frost over the mouth is not formed, and this at a temperature of 0-5 Β°. I would recommend it.

Really warm and nice fleece fabric but not suitable for my 8.

Really warm and comfortable fleece but not suitable for my 8 year old. Its head is medium sized and not too small. it's too tight in places, making it unflattering. I wouldn't buy it again but it does what it's supposed to do in skiing/winter weather and my son loves it so much we're keeping it.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Little things

Great face mask for cold weather

Great product. Warms my son's face while allowing him to play ninja. The material is smooth, so it is comfortable to wear and has good stretch. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it sometimes draws my son's attention. It's just a little big for him, that's the problem. If he's a bit older, that won't be a problem.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • boring packaging

Good buy for cold baseball and football games

Perfect for my 8 year old. There is not enough sizing information in the description, I have attached a picture of the sizing information that was on the tag. A good buy for cold baseball and football games. It is difficult to imagine that it would fit a 12 year old child. Overall a good buy. I research sports sites before buying. You might find a better deal in the store during hunting season. In spring it was the best option I could find. I can recommend it to everyone who does sports with a…

Great for keeping our young son's head warm in cold weather

This balaclava is easy to slip on and will keep our son's head nice and warm during the bitterly cold Colorado winter. He doesn't like it when it covers his mouth or nose, but that's not the balaclava's fault, and the lower section gathers easily and completely covers the neck. At 19 months he's just about snuggly enough and I think he's got room for next winter (he has a head circumference of 50 percent so that's a pretty average head size for his age). The inside is not fleece but a very soft

A few words about sizes.

Good branded unit at a good price. I bought two of these for my kids under snowmobile helmets and they look like they will work perfectly. I didn't research the sizes and the Revain list didn't provide enough information. My children are 3 and 5 years old. I checked the outdoor research website and they only listed the size XS/S. I figured it was one size fits all kids like most balaclavas. Revain also shows a medium/large size option and I thought it was for teens or something as there was no…
