    Great Value

This was the perfect SSD replacement for my old MacBook and the price was great. I liked that I didn't have to use adapters to connect the drive to the Mac's proprietary SSD connector.

    Great for computers and accessories

My computer had a 256GB SSD and ran out of space. I replaced it with this 1TB drive and it was very easy to install. I didn't expect to see such a speed boost that breathed new life into the computer.

I revived my 2013 Macbook Pro!

I love this new 1TB Speed drive! For the past 7 years I have had a standard 512GB Apple SSD and my computer has been running slow and running out of space. OVK to the rescue! Installation was easy and my laptop runs faster and has a lot more space. Thank you OVC!

    Much-needed additional storage

Like most, I bought a 2012 MacBook Pro Retina SSD 256GB. I bought an external hard drive to deal with the lack of space, but I got tired of lugging it around. I can't say if this SSD is necessarily faster, but installation was easy. I made a Time Machine backup from my old SSD and restored it in about 3 hours using recovery mode.

Great price easy install save money

I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro. For a few years I was disappointed because it only had a 250GB hard drive and I was tired of running out of space to have. I was willing to buy a new $3000 MacBook but decided to get this hard drive upgrade instead. I watched the seller's video on how to install it and it was pretty easy. Now my MB Pro loads faster and I don't worry about memory anymore. WARNING: Make sure you put the screws on the back of the laptop in the same holes they were originally in; they

Worked but problems with Mac OS updates

I have a 2012 MacBook Pro with Retina display. The original drive didn't boot, but I was able to get it to work after erasing it and everything restarted. I didn't have faith in the original drive, so I decided to try the OWC drive. Note. I had to hold down the "Option" key instead of "Command + R" and then press the power button on the first boot. Although I was able to get it to work, it had issues with macOS updates as well as app updates. I don't know why, but maybe the MacBook realized…
