Frustratingly mismatched bags!

I ordered about 5 90 ounce bags of this hay. And the quality of each bag is different. 1. Bag from the supermarket for animals - great! It had long green stems and a pleasant smell. I thought it was a good brand so I kept buying it. 2. Bag from Walmart - brown, dried hay with any hay smell. The replacement bag (3rd) was slightly better but contained many short, broken stems. Something good, something dangerous

I thought for a long time that old hay was the best hay on the market and I hope I'm wrong. I've been using this hay for about 5-6 months and the quality has kept changing. That last package was a disaster and I think it killed my guinea pig. When I first opened the package, I noticed my allergies were showing very strongly.
