Description of 🐠 Penn-Plax 75 Watt Fully Submersible Aquarium Heater: Accurate Heating for Up to 15 Gallon Tanks

FULLY SUBMERSIBLE AQUARIUM HEATER: The 150W Cascade Aquarium Heater easily maintains healthy water temperature within a 1° accuracy, and can be set anywhere between 68 °F and 89 °F, by using the red control knob. The 150W model works great for 20 – 30 gallon fish tanks. VISIBLE & ACCURATE TEMPERATURE SCALE: With an easy to read setting scale in both Celsius and Fahrenheit, it’s easy to see the temperature adjustments being made. To increase the temperature, rotate the control knob counter-clockwise, and to decrease, rotate it clockwise; or, follow the + and – symbols located near the control knob. ORANGE PILOT LIGHT: Our Cascade Heat Aquarium Heaters feature a pilot light that indicates the heating cycle status. This means that it will go on and off by itself as the thermostat cycles the heating element on and off. In other words, orange light = heater is on. Similarly, these aquarium heaters make a faint click when turning off. ADDITIONAL FEATURES: In addition to being composed of heavy-duty and shock-resistant glass, these fully submersible aquarium heaters can be placed either horizontally or vertically. There’s also a built-in minimum water level indicator at the top, colored in red. MEASUREMENTS: Overall Length = 11” / Overall Diameter = 1.1” / Suction Cup Diameter = 1.25” / Wattage = 150W / Voltage = 110V.

Keep the tank warm...are you looking?

I bought a 300W heater at the end of March, officially it doesn't work at the beginning of July. It was more than I expected but I have a 55 gallon tank so it's not a big deal. Lies on the side. My house is pretty cool 60*-65* so I had to keep the heaters higher and higher to get it up to 78*. I actually had to add a small heater to help. This worked until about a week ago. I have the heater on full temp and the water is still 69*. It's behind a rear window so I'm out of heat and need it for my

Water heater matches aquarium heaters and coolers

Bought this to heat our 3 gallon aquarium. After 24 hours of holding, the water temperature was almost ideal. I checked the water temperature with 3 calibrated thermometers and they were all within half a degree of each other. This heater works very well, turning off when the set temperature is reached and turning on when the water gets too cold. I set it to 77 degrees to keep our Betta comfortable. So far this fully submersible heater works very well and the 2 suction cups work great in the…

A good heater serves its purpose

A good heater serves its purpose. Received broken on first delivery, very disappointed then spoke to customer service and it was replaced immediately. As usual, Amazon has lived up to its expectations for better customer service. Most importantly, this heater is way better than what I paid for. But I see some concerns about this heater 1 - it is the most delicate heater, especially the internal components are quite fragile 2 - handle with extreme care before installing in place e.g. B. in an…
