Tighten the inner socket before use.

Used on my ball joints. The first worked fine, but grease was leaking out where the spring was. I noticed that they are not tight. Didn't realize I had to tighten the inner shaft. There were no directions. I'm still not sure what the extra part is for.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Long delivery time

A pump is a fool! Divided into 2 parts when used for the first time

The first grease pump needle has come loose from the mirror. Chock with a pump! I then had to hold the needle section by the base so any lube would go up the needle and not seep between the mirror and the needle section. The thing literally exploded from a single pump on a manual grease gun.

  • Free for training purposes

Purchased to lubricate the front driveshaft on a 2017 Ram 3500.

Needed to lubricate the front driveshaft on my Ram 3500 (4WD). Unfortunately, it doesn't have a standard Zerk fitting, instead it has a flush point lube point, which means you need that needle-style grease gun fitting to squirt grease. Lubricating this spot is painful as it is very dense and inconvenient to access. To mount this needle fitting to a grease gun, unscrew and screw in a standard Zerk oil fitting and you're done. The grease needle I received didn't look exactly like the product…

Save your money with grease guns

Poorly assembled out of the box without instructions. You'd better tighten all fittings/connections before first use, otherwise grease will come out from the seams on the nozzle and cause a mess. Also, the threads at the needle tip are weak and the tip bends very easily under pressure. The price is right, but the product is not.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Fits Garage & Shop

This needle adapter works well. I had to open the hole at the end of the needle because it was partially blocked due to the hole not being drilled in the center of the tapered needle. Also, this adapter can be quite messy if you don't press down on the standard grease gun sleeve when applying the grease. The solution to this problem is to replace the standard clutch with a lubricated locking clutch such as those sold by JoyTutus, LockNLube or Lumax. I did and now I can lubricate my gear with…

Great value product

This adapter W54219 is ideal for washing mirrors. When used with pneumatic tools, others like the Lincoln 5803 take up very little space. This adapter takes up a little more space, allowing for a better fit in the Zerk and making the whole process smoother. The quality of this adapter isn't the best, but when used correctly it works quite well. I read the reviews about it and decided against buying it. I'm glad I made the purchase. Mirror-flush cannot always be mounted with a single adapter and

It works fine for me.: Garage & Shop

It seems to work fine. Fits snugly on my grease gun, doesn't leak at the joint. all-metal construction. Lubricant flows normally. Not exactly sure if it works well with OEM hinges or not, but since they have 180,000 miles on them and are over 15 years old, I decided to give it a try. I used it on my 2002 F150 to rotate the inner and outer tie rod and steering arm. The original hinges have no play or play, squeaks or rattles so I don't think they need to be replaced but I believe they were…
