Poor quality inner tubes - tires and wheels

This was the third extension set I have purchased. 1. 2 started to leak where the braided hose was crimped to stainless steel after about a year of 1000 miles. The last set had one that dripped right out of the box. No response from Phoenix Customer Service regarding replacement. Dropped them and bought extended brass valve stems for the dual rear wheels. Recommend the same to anyone who needs to easily check dual rear wheels and add tire pressure sensors.

Doesn't fit right out of the box.

2017 Ram 3500 Twin. I had to cut pieces of the cap to use the included stands. The inner wheel adapter had to be ground (trimmed) to make the valve stems airtight (one of these overheated in the grinding and the rubber seal in the adapter is now leaking 3 pounds a day). That's my fault for not using water to cool during the grinding process. But, hey, I don't need to modify a product that should fit/work from the start. If a company wants to get it right they can send me a kit ready to use…

Nice addition and secure connection.

Updated July 26, 2017. Had to downgrade, leak, very disappointed. Tighten by hand, then 1/4 turn, leaks, try another 1/2 turn, still leaks. For more than one full turn, the rubber seal seems to block the air from the wheel valve stem, the air does not escape when the valve core is pushed on the extension. I had high expectations after all the positive reviews and how well made they are. I was really frustrated and disappointed after spending money and time on it. Original: Installed on 08 3500…

Works great but installation requires modification!

Bought for a Class A motorhome with 19.5" wheels. The 4 brackets included that hold the ends of the air expanders were too small for an impeller of this size. The bracket that fits over the wheel stud had to be tapered to prevent the stainless steel lock nut from threading onto the stud. One possible solution was to create a new crease in the corner of the bracket to allow the locking nut to thread onto the stud. but then the brackets would be too short for the length of the air extensions. the

:::UPDATE 10/21/2016 --- I promised to update the review if I had any problems with these valve extenders - and I have done so. I'm currently reducing my rating to two stars. I had a problem - as you will note, I pointed out below in my original review that these valve extenders were made for different tire sizes (16"-19") and for my 16" tires they were too long for the Outer tires were I installed a double and had to install it in an extension cord with a large "flex cable". Well, that extra…
