Great Pictures, Descriptions and Instructions

This book covers all joints and how to study them properly, with pictures to help each student understand which bony landmarks to feel and manipulate. In my practice, I don't often adapt to extreme situations, but this book will definitely set you on the right path to understanding and a successful career.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

Orthopedic Newbie Resource

Comprehensive with numerous detailed (but easy to understand) anatomy diagrams of bony landmarks, tendons, etc. Great resource for providers new to an orthopedic facility. I am a general practitioner who recently started outpatient chiropractic rehabilitation and the physical therapist I work with recommended that I have specific orthopedic exams and study anatomy.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • I don't remember but something was

Simple, classic in technique

As a student, I found this book to be an excellent supplement. It's simple and concise. What I like most is that it walks you through the exam step by step unlike my textbook. It guides you through a logical and comprehensive examination, like a beginner's guide to orthopedics. When I was a student, it was more helpful in developing my exam skills than a huge book full of terms, tests, and related anatomy like my core text.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
