Acrylic, glass, smooth ceramic are the gold standards for working with polymer clay. Contrary to what some Youtube videos suggest, you don't want to use a wooden rolling pin when working with clay. Polymer clay is non-toxic, but tools used with clay should only be used with polymer clay. The wood also leaches some of the oils from the clay, leading to undesirable results. This was the cheapest and best acrylic stick I could find and is easy to work with. Buy one for yourself!
