Poor Popper at Games & Accessories

While I love this game, I'm still disappointed that there are still many design flaws. I got the updated version, thinking it would be more durable and "bang" better, but it doesn't. After about a month of use, the hands became weak and the pig didn't clap well at all. Very embarrassing for the kids. I've used this in therapy before, but it just doesn't last that long. For the price it should be much stronger and last longer.

  • User Friendly
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great simple game for the whole family

This is a simple game that even the youngest players will enjoy and will have a surprising who it will land on. You roll the dice and they tell you what color of hamburger to take and they each have different numbers that tell you how many times to move the pig's head. Everyone gets nervous when they swing because they don't want to pop the pig. Lots of fun seeing all the faces and not a lot of instructions so this is a great family game that anyone can play and have fun with. Even if you loseโ€ฆ

Before you buy, watch a video about this game.

I thought "Pop" would be much more interesting. The picture on the front does not show what is happening. What happens: The strap on the top of the pig is untied, and the top of the head opens up a little. My husband and I think this game would be a lot better if it didn't have a strap so you can see the pig's belly grow and the top could open up more dramatically. My 2 and 4 year old kids love this game but it's a bit difficult for them to put pressure on the pig's head. (By the way I know myโ€ฆ

Iffy updates best in Floor Games

I had an older version before this one came out today. Prefer the old version tail twist to reload the game. Tail previously seemed like a bit of an unstable way to reset, but the update forces you to go all the way through the popup before you can reset it. This one has a bigger stomach. The purple on the stamp is so pale lavender that at first I thought it was a white typo. Overall this is a good game and versatile for many ages. I've used it with preschoolers through fifth grade and all ageโ€ฆ

Fun game but cheaply made and not fully functional

I bought this game to play with the kids I see in therapy - I'm a private speech therapist. My employer had one but it was very popular and not always available so I decided to get one myself. This is a fun game and kids love it. I just wish it was done a little better. "Hamburgers" vary greatly in quality and design. It's forgivable I think. What's not great is that it actually isn't what it's advertised to be. When the belly presses the belt and the arms fly up, it's hanging somewhere, andโ€ฆ

Pros

  • Vulgarity

We bought this for our 4 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She jumped up and said I wanted it so badly and ripped off the first sheet of wrapping paper. I did not know that. I just went to my parents to make sure she doesn't have it. After I spoke to my parents, she saw a bunch of his ads. I bought this, like most gifts, based on reviews from others. (So thanks to everyone who took the time to do this) Every member of the family played this game with her at Christmas, and according to herโ€ฆ

Introduced to this game by a professional therapist, he had to have his own!

My son hasn't turned four for several months. He visits a speech therapist for a speech disorder and also visits OT for sensory purposes and social communication problems (goes hand-in-hand with speech delay). One problem he faces is staying neat after frustration and change. Those were the months we saw him OT weekly before the games launched. For the last month they have spent a short amount of time each week playing this game. I haven't read anything about the different ways to play, I justโ€ฆ

  • A dubious purchase for seniors

Mediocre at Best: Floor Games

Bought this game to use during speech therapy sessions with students. I didn't like it for several reasons: 1) All the hamburgers in this game are different colors. This is good for teaching colors but doesn't make much sense. If you want colorful pieces, why not make them into donuts or candy or something else where the colors of the rainbow make sense? 2) Aside from being unnatural, once you put a hamburger in his mouth he'll instantly fall in his "stomach". But you also have to squeeze/pumpโ€ฆ
