This is a great item for studying magnets. My 6 year old loves to play with it. Glory to the creators! Will definitely buy again, it's time for another grandson! I love that it comes with a little bag to keep your essentials. More companies should do this! My 3 year old and 5 year old love putting this little puzzle together. It is quiet, small and a good challenge for preschool and kindergarten children. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the plastic of the base and stick feels a bit brittle and I'm sure if my kid accidentally steps on it or gets frustrated trying to put it together , it will tear and break .

What a great find! I came across a recommendation for magnetic match rings on my mom's blog and while in the market for magnetic explorer toys I ran down and ordered one. I bought this for my 3 year old daughter (to keep her entertained while I homeschool her 5 year old sister) but I will say she is a bit young for that.
