Not as good quality as others I've bought.

They are not the same quality as the other filters I have purchased. I assumed all the filters would be very similar in quality, but these don't match. The filter paper filters too easily and the water drains through the bottom rather quickly. I could water constantly and not pause to keep the filter from overflowing. With the previous filters I've bought, I had to pause at least three times to brew an 8-ounce cup of coffee. Also, they are much more fragile than my previous filters. The open…

Poor quality - drains too slowly

I'm not sure if there's a trick to this but we've had very conflicting results. They are easy to open and sit on the cup. There's also plenty of space for coffee and water, so there's a healthy margin of error if you're a clumsy guy like me. However, this is where all good reviews end. The first took over 7 minutes to brew and the water got too cold, while the second only took 2 minutes. After an 8 day hike we spent about £30 to make 16 cups of coffee. Wow, the coffee is better than I expected; soft and fragrant

Your coffee brewing method with these filters is very important to the result. For this review I did the following. I've been looking at my coffee (using my regular coffee spoon) and water measurements as I'm not that picky, but my aim is around 14-15g of coffee per 200g of water. The water has just boiled.
