Very comfortable! - Spare Parts

This is one of those 'things' that you probably don't need every day (unless you're an electrician etc) but are glad to have when you do! Easy to use and I love them! I only wish there was an equal amount of all sizes in the varied packaging!

Good to have! for spare parts

Used to install remote start. Very good product, a bit expensive but a million times better than any crimp junk! I usually solder my connections, but there was very little space on the 2004 Chevy S10, so I used them. Happy with the results!

These idiots work!

I'm tired of those useless tees and/or branch connectors that you crimp and hope they work. This product is very easy to design and operate, very easy to install. Less swearing required! Expensive, but if everything works. It's worth it. +++++

Cons
  • Low maintainability

Too expensive but they are awesome

I used these to connect the wires to the 30 pin ECU connector. Worked great! To me, soldering taps into those tiny under-dash wires would be next to impossible. But I wouldn't even try. That made the task easier.

The name says it all... Posi-Tap!

This is without a doubt the best way to T on the Wire! I've used those crappy clamshell connectors before and had issues, but these posi-taps do exactly what the name says. If you're a mechanic or radio installer, you can't go wrong with this!

Cons

Posi-tap connectors

IMHO this is the best way to connect wires without soldering. After the wires are connected and if desired you can disassemble it again by simply unscrewing the connectors. They also have waterproof connectors. They are a bit more expensive but definitely worth the extra money for them.

Cons
  • Some bugs

These amazing couplers work every time and keep my wiring clean

These great couplers work every time and keep my wiring clean. I used the latter to connect the return wire to my SUV, it was quick and easy despite working with a thick thin wire harness. If I had to do the splicing by hand, the operation would take much longer, and cutting the wrong wire could be a disaster. But not with these villains. The only negative I can think of is the cost, but to be honest Posi-Taps is so convenient and saves me tons of time that it makes up for the cost.

This is the answer to the guys prayers about the wiring

Until I found it, there wasn't really a "good way" to connect to the cable. There's a thing I call a guillotine, a device that crimps wire with a blade. I've always felt that these things probably cut about half the wires in a strand. Or you can strip the insulation, being careful not to cut the wires, and then solder the connecting wires together. But with a large bundle of wire to examine to trace the signal, and with a 22 gauge, there really wasn't a good answer. So far. While these things…

A must-have in your toolbox

The Posi-Tap connectors are the perfect addition to your toolbox if you ever need to connect anything! They provide a strong connection to existing wiring without compromising the integrity of the existing cable. No more cutting and twisting wires to make connections, simply unscrew the posi-tap connector, it inserts the pin through the insulation into the center of the stranded wire. Connectors are available in different sizes to keep the power cord aligned with the center of the connector…
