I liked the long length which gives more length support when making a picture frame. 4 inches was too little and I could easily have spent a little more time just using 4 of the 6 inches on each half of the frame and then gluing them together. Seemed very accurate along with three different angle and square comparisons. They should work fine for what I need.

Positioning angles look good; However, the inside corner is not square, making it unusable. You can fix this by applying extra clamping force and comparing it to a good square, but of course this defeats the purpose of positioning the squares. I intend to hardwire the template to get a square and never buy that brand again.

I have made both black brand squares and metal in the USA. I just needed a bit more when assembling the table. These reds are more accurate and richer than blacks. They are not as accurate as my 0.002 inch metal. They are cheaper than the black and metal ones. So they are very beneficial when you need very good squares.

These squares can be useful for people who don't need a high level of accuracy or building smaller projects.
