8 independent smart charging circuits capable of charging 1-8 AA/AAA batteries in any combination. A large LCD screen shows the charging status of each battery. You have a choice of rapid and soft charge modes. Rapid charge enables 8 batteries to be fully charged to their maximum capacities in 1-2 hr. Soft charge takes about 3-4 hr but provides greater battery life, as well as compatibility with older, lower-capacity batteries. An integrated deep conditioning system charges, deep-discharges and then recharges batteries automatically, in order to offer maximum rejuvenation. Batteries Not Included.

Revain's **ONLY** choice for a quality charger that won't damage your NiMH batteries!

Very happy with this charger. Bought 5 of these and we use them every day. We use them for wireless microphone setups, which are some of the most problematic devices on the planet for rechargeable batteries. I SPECIALLY chose this charger because it offers soft charging, a feature that should be mandatory for all battery chargers - it prevents heat damage to the battery. Batteries do not need to be charged in pairs

The only benefit of this charger is that it can charge any number of batteries at once, up to 8, as many as other chargers require you to charge Charge batteries in pairs, which is a problem when you have a device that only uses 3 batteries, which many of my LED flashlights and my kid's toys require. Absolutely one of the best chargers, especially in this price range

Bought a second Powerex charger. Now that there are many more devices in the home and office that use batteries, I would rather charge batteries as often as possible rather than buying tons of batteries only to either throw them away or find a recycling center. This device from Maha is one of the best! I use their brand name batteries (Powerex AA) in my professional flashes and also carry them as a backup when all three of my Nikon camera batteries are dead. I like that this device has multiple
