My son dreamed of getting them for Christmas. block chip. He is an aspiring chef in the making. He loves them more than some of my more expensive models. and me too. Superb German manufacture and quality, and can be balanced on one finger. Excellent purchase!

This is a very good knife set. Durable with very little flex and very sharp. I've used a small knife to cut all types of veggies at least a dozen times with little effort and the blade is still nice and sharp. I recently cut ham with a large knife - again without much effort. These knives need to be hand washed, but that's a small price to pay for good quality.

I bought this set as a housewarming gift, I opened the box to test before giving and was pleasantly surprised by the look and feel. As a professional chef and lover of good knives I definitely found these to be of very good quality. I wasn't entirely impressed with the block, it would have been better if it was made from a more durable wood. Overall very happy with this purchase.

We've been using it for almost a year. Brand unknown but tested. Of course it's ultra sharp. Effortlessly chop vegetables, just keep sliding. All knives need to be sharpened twice a month (depending on usage) to keep them very sharp. The weight of all knives is well balanced. We've had these for a week now. I wasn't sure if I should order them because I wasn't familiar with the brand, but we were pleasantly surprised. The grip isn't rubberized, but it's heavy and feels solid. The handle is also long enough for a regular adult and doesn't have any of those weird bulges that make your hand sit in an awkward position.
