This screen door latch will never fit in a screen door as it is NOT fixed to the door. It comes with two plastic sides, but the sides cannot be held together with the included screws. One side as holes (that don't go through) and the other side just has bolts that don't snap into the holes and won't fasten the screws anyway (see photo).
