Supports stable poor 4G connection

Originally wanted to return it as my router kept showing 0 bands and I thought there was no improvement (it's a Dlink AC1200 from US Celluar). However, despite the "no ribbons", the connection seems stable, although I can't say that my speed has improved much. My ubiquiti edge router does 3 pings a few times per minute and sees more DSL (Frontier) dropouts than my USCelluar connection. Before connecting external antennas, the router maintained a very poor connection no matter where I placed itโ€ฆ

Good signal gain - network antennas

I purchased this for my MoFi 4500 through AT&T service. I had a decent signal with the internal antennas that came with MoFi, but I wanted more speed for the modem/router. Everything I read said that a better signal would help with that. . . they are true I used this outdoor antenna on my house and it rises about 18 inches above the roof. The face is actually pointing in a different direction than I thought to get a better signal and indeed the tall, dense cedar is only 30 feet away and may beโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for tester support and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Seems to be working fine.

Purchased for use with a Netgear LB2120 4G modem which only showed 2 signal bars with no external antenna and only had 10Mbps up/down traffic. After the initial installation, the modem now shows 3 signal bars and the download speed has increased to around 25-30 Mbps, the download speed is now around 12 Mbps. We'll play around with the positioning and see if further improvements can be made with minor tweaks. Worth a try. Paired with TS9-N forked pigtails from Custom Cables Group, NF-M 16ftโ€ฆ

This antenna is awesome! I use this antenna for mobile internet.

The antenna is fantastic! I use this antenna for mobile internet in rural areas. I was assuming an unstable link that had a throughput of about 3 inches down and 1 inch up. The antenna increases it to 20 down and 9 up. Due to my environment and the local towers, there was some trial and error with the setup. However, the setup instructions were great, with links to apps to help you find the best target tower. The company's customer service is the best. I had questions about the wire type andโ€ฆ

Wow it works: Networking Products

Bought this Proxicast 4g/LTE antenna to connect Netgear Nighthawk M1 Mobile Router and Access Point. The service works with T-Mobile's old unlimited plan. I am 4.69 miles from the tower as measured on Google Maps. My download speed went from 4-7 Mbps to 22-28 Mbps. THIS IS STILL WITHOUT OUTSIDE POSTS! THIS IS ATTACHED IN THE HOUSE! The download speed is slow but I believe it will be better when it gets pushed to the road. I'll try to update the final info later after I connect outside.

Proxicast 4G/LTE Cross-Polarized was a good solution for me

Bought for rural use for a metal roofed log cabin about 2 miles from nearest LTE tower but no direct line of sight from - for the terrain and forests (I live in the Pacific Northwest - lots of large spruce). I connected this antenna to a MOFI4500-4GXeLTE-SIM7-COMBO 4G/LTE router connected with a 25ft coax twin cable. With no Proxicast connected to the router, I got signal strength in the range of -110dB inside the house and about -103dB outside at the ground level. After the Proxicast wasโ€ฆ

Okay, I'm officially impressed.

Despite the positive reviews I was quite skeptical, but officially I'm impressed. I live in a rural area where cell phones hardly work. I put this antenna on the roof, connected it to my LTE modem and immediately got 4/5 bars of signal strength. Just connect to a modem and point to the nearest tower. I went from no service to 20MB Up/Down on Sprint LTE service. While it's not lightning fast, it can at least be used for Netflix and light video streaming compared to what it used to be. That's aโ€ฆ
