Great tutorial on industrial magnets

As a teacher I found these magnets a great help. My school uses a behavioral thermometer. As I travel through different classrooms throughout the day, these magnets allow me to still keep school culture in small groups in mind when we need to break classes and ask students to stand up to move their name on the classroom thermometer.

Pros
  • Flexible magnets
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Great but the size makes it easy to stain the edges

These are great items but if you wash them often you can use a damp cloth from time to time. If you use a regular eraser, paper towel, etc., you'll find that the paint from the previous marks sticks to the edges and stains them fairly easily. Liquid spray cleaning (they make it for dry erase boards) helps a lot. Otherwise they work great, are very flat and stick very well to a magnetic board or metal surface.-D

Pros
  • Industrial magnets
Cons
  • Damaged

but some glass cleaner made it very good for me to use.

This is by no means an exception, but they work for their purpose. I had trouble cleaning some of them after a while, but a glass cleaner did it pretty well so I could use them again; although he hasn't cleaned it up to look brand new. Sometimes when you peel them off and then fold them, the dry erase material sticks to the bottom of another magnet. But as far as I know it doesn't cause any problems with the magnet sticking, just leaves a weird white pattern on the magnet. They are quite thick…

Pros
  • industrial and scientific
