RAM Mount Double Suction Base Review

Sturdy base that securely holds my iPad Pro 10.5" on the 6" bracket. A suction cup didn't work with the weight of the iPad.

Keeps falling out of windshield. Both the glass and the cups are clean and free of debris. Sometimes it stays for a week and then shows up, sometimes it just stays for a few minutes before showing up. very disappointing for the price

Secure Bracket. It's currently mounted to an older Wrangler windshield, I've installed 3 RAM ball mounts and easily handles a phone, tablet, Go-Pro or a mix. Really good way to add electronics to a Jeep Wrangler.

Bought this along with a variety of other RAM products for use with my iPad. However, I found that this dual suction cup base didn't hold the iPad well on a flat, vertical surface; even if moisture gets on the cups. It works well on a flat horizontal surface, but if there is still a "rocking" motion and thus the extender and iPad cannot sit securely.

The dual mount is the only way to mount an expensive camera, GPS or tablet. I use it in a Sikorsky Helicopter to hold my iPad Mini. He has never let me down! Stays on the windshield all day. From the morning chill to the midday heat, he is as hard as stone. I buy Ram products. I use them for my GoPro camera, my iPhone in my truck, and my iPad in my company's helicopter. I won't use anything else.

This thing has supernatural holding power. basically sticks to my kitchen counter to the point where I can't tear it off. Bought for my boat with a center console to hold an iPad that works spotty and navionics and I needed something equivalent to a permanent mount but with no holes. that was excellent. paired with a back-to-back iPad stand (no articulating arm) with a stainless steel washer and the lowest profile suction cup mount.
