2-IN-1 DESIGN: Copper side removes burnt residue and rust from pots, pans, stoves and cutlery; also ideal for bikes, cars and motorcycles; ultra soft microfiber side absorbs dirt and grime without leaving streaks. Type of review

I inherited a set from Le Creuset that was not properly cared for. It was the only thing that removed the burned food. It didn't reduce the actual stains (and left a small gray stain when I tried using it on the inside of the pot), but at least now I know the pots and pans are clean. Ideal for painting cast iron!

I bought these pads specifically for polishing my cast iron pans. When removing rust and old plaque it is important not to use steel wool as steel contains iron. You don't want to rub small flakes of easily oxidized iron into the pan to get rid of the rust. Steel is also stronger than cast iron, and putting too much fat on it can scratch your pan. I wish I could give higher!

After reading many reviews about different types of sponges that seemed more environmentally friendly, I settled on this one. I LOVE her and I don't love her. I wish I could recommend them to others because they are super efficient and more eco-friendly, but the durability isn't great :-(. Details below. PRO:- they clean EVERYTHING.
