Great tool kit to get the job done

This tool kit is perfect for disassembling the interior of my car without damaging the leather or painted areas. I use this kit to do some minor repairs on my car and it allows me to dig deep enough to do it. It's also durable and much more durable than I would expect. I should have had this set many years ago.

Pros
  • Industry Best
Cons
  • Upgrades

Does the job well - tools and supplies

I bought these to remove the interior trim on a 2013 Passat to replace the radio. There was plenty of choice with these tools and I had absolutely no problem removing the skin safely and undamaged. In fact, I had to remove the panel about 3 times to finally get the radio working properly. These tools were worth every penny.

The work is done - tools and equipment

I bought this to replace my car stereo and add a dash cam. It was used to remove the radio panel and behind the bumper in the trunk area. A few times I put enough weight on them to be sure something would break, but they held up well. I'm glad I didn't buy a fancier or tool-heavy kit because it really has everything you need for most jobs.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Minor repairability

Handy little body repair tool kit

I am a DIY enthusiast and will not use them every day. But since I bought this set I have used it twice already. The metal tool was a coupler to remove those plastic push rivets from the cab without breaking them. Other nylon/plastic parts are fine although I don't know how long they will last. For the price and my needs I think you can't go wrong adding it to your toolbox.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other tools

Better than I expected

I'm a general contractor and I usually only use the more expensive tools. If the tool breaks, it could cost me more than I paid for it in just one day. Anyway it's my habit and I don't like sissy instruments but I was pleasantly surprised when I bought them. They're not designed for lifting buildings, but for non-professional mechanics, they're probably a good choice for most people. If you're wondering what you need for an automotive project, just get them. They will save you a lot of…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Not the best

Very, very helpful! for Body Repair Tools

This is one of those items that I should have bought a long time ago. I only have a few projects in my car that I'll be using them for, but as far as salvaging anything I've ever scratched with a screwdriver to pry something open, they'll come in very handy. I could save a lot of broken plastic. I've had a set like this over the years. The tools are made of some kind of super plastic or nylon because they are very strong. I've pryed hard on the inner door panels etc and they don't even flex…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Doubtful Purchase for Elderly

I broke two of them shortly after receiving them.

First of all, they are essential for removing the moldings. Don't try this with screwdrivers or you will scratch your car. They work well with plastics and carpets, but don't use them near a metal case or they'll break quickly like they did on mine. The tips are quite brittle and finished. I used them next to the floor panel at the bottom of the door and they broke. We'll have to write it off as operator error. A dual tool is really the only thing you can use to remove these plastic fasteners…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
