No engine code and great sound

Aluminum construction. Like competitors. It works as intended. I was just looking for that extra turbo purge sound with a factory wastegate. It is recommended to replace the factory DV with a Pierburg D version. This is the last revised version to ensure that there are no boost leaks. No engine codes either!

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Protection

Works well. Orient the holes in the gasket toward GROUND.

Installed on a 2012 GTI 2.0T. Took me about 30 minutes mainly because I was struggling to unscrew the DV valve bolts. Make sure the holes are facing down and plug the sensor back in (I forgot to do this so there was no BOV tone). Sounds good. The cold air intake increases the volume. Overall excellent for the price. Makes a decent flushing noise, not too loud. If you want it louder, we recommend getting a cold air intake. The attached picture also shows it on a DV valve which is obviously not…

Is it PSSHT! switching tone.

Mounted on VW MK5 GTI. Removing those hex bolts was pretty damn hard. You'll fight and bleed and curse and walk away but then come back, rinse and repeat until you've got the old rusty bastards out in 2 hours. Then install this gasket in about 5 minutes as it is 1000 times easier to reassemble. Damn, those Midwest winters that turn everything to rust. The product is really great even though it has a zipper. Lubricate the O-rings with some oil for a better seal. I would 100% buy again.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Fairly noisy but not intrusive. Easy installation. No error codes

I drive a '09 VW GTI. I go with a spacer for about a week. I was looking for something that reports when I'm shifting from high revs, but not during everyday driving. For that it works very well. Obviously, as with all partial breather gaskets (mostly when the engine is cold), there is some inconsistency, but that is just the level at which it can be heard without being annoyingly loud. Installation was no more difficult than replacing a DV. Most importantly, the ECU does not generate any…

2.0t TSI Perfect fit, perfect sound.

I was skeptical, cheap far too cheap. But I tried. Boy was I wrong. I think it's a good solid aluminum. But it is heavy and very well made. Definitely doesn't have an open box presentation lol. It only comes in a plastic bag. But it's not terrible. However, it fit perfectly. No spaces there is nothing for me. It was cozy as a bug. And it sounds great. It's shhhh and when you really start and let go you hear a loud WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…

  • Absolute legend

Research before you buy 💯

The product was very well made although I never fitted it - we sent it back on our mechanic's recommendation which sucks because I was definitely in awe of that final sound valve. with my Beetle 2.0TSi. I was told that this 'might' affect the metered air going into the turbocharger and would certainly affect future engine performance and wear as less air would be running at the same fuel ratio causing that she "gets rich" in the engine. Now I'm sure the people who designed this pad did a great…

Greatly improved BOV sound but not too much

Overall the sound of the product is excellent. It's not unbearably loud or obnoxious with its tone. As a fair warning, if you have an aftermarket "piston valve" like Go Fast Bits' DV+, you will need to purchase longer set screws. You will need M6 x 50mm bolts or more for a few bucks more. Also the install was pretty easy for me as last year I relocated the diverter valve right next to the throttle body which takes 5 minutes to swap out the valve spacers but I can probably imagine an install…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Don't spend more on other brands.

If you want a blow off valve sound from your Audi, this DEFF is for you. I risked it and it does 100% the same as a Forge or GFB spacer. Same sound, same seal, different name, 1/4 price. I have attached a video of the sound you are receiving. If you need a PSHHT turbo when you let off the gas, this will definitely work. An inlet makes the sound much better, IMHO. but it's still amazing even without the reception. No CEL and no crazy side effects (at least on my B7 2.0). Just buy it. It's cheap…
