I use them to spread ice melt (calcium chloride). It's small enough (32 ounces) to store in the 5 gallon bucket (home storage) I use, but large enough to sprinkle pellets over my steps. This is an amazing upgrade from using a quart to-go food container! The scoop keeps the ice from touching your hands and slides out easily when you spin it! If you have a larger container, 64 ounces will save you time and steps. A simple product that makes life in the Northeast easier!

I am very pleased with this large, sturdy dustpan. I use it to scoop clean cat litter into the box and also clean up used litter. The flat bottom is great for cleaning. Due to the high sides and wide back, enough litter fits in each scoop (approx. 4 cups per scoop). The handle is comfortable to hold and easy to clean. I also like that it has a hole to hang the dustpan on the wall or side of the tray. This is a very strong scoop and I don't see it breaking under the pressure of a lot of product.

The first scoop I bought and inspected was a large Rubbermaid Commercial FG9F7600CLR Bouncer Contour Scoop for Ingredient Bins, 64 oz, 64 oz clear scoop, which I first liked because I had RSVP Endurance Scoop, 9, have used inches was too small.
