Looks great. I understand the frustration some have expressed at the difficulty of installing it. until I realized that a small piece of metal had to be removed. Once removed it is very easy to apply.

I read reviews about tight fitting issues before ordering this item. I do a lot of auto and appliance maintenance and repair and figured it couldn't be that bad. I was wrong, they are too tight to continue without widening the holes and even then they are too tight. As others have addressed this issue, I think Rugged Ridge should address this issue.

These grips are NOT aluminum. This is cheap cast metal with a chrome finish. While they will undoubtedly last longer than plastic, they are not as advertised. Let's change the description of Revain.Update: After contacting the manufacturer directly, it became apparent that they are also misrepresenting the design and finish of the items. Buyers should beware of Rugged Ridge products!

Reliable replacement. Although they are around 2-3 times more expensive than plastic, they last indefinitely. They also glow, but one is dimmer than the others. I can handle it. They were quite snug, but a little wiping with WD-40 and very firm pressure seemed to pull them on with no problem. I was afraid I might break something but he handled the pressure well. Gift I bought these because two plastic bearings broke on a 9 degree day and left me with no heat and it won't happen again. They were very tight but I used some lube and a light mallet and tapped them really good, they look great. They might not get close to the face, but that's not a problem for me. They do not work right out of the box. The inserts are a bit thick for Jeep stems. All you have to do is take the inserts out of the originals and put them in the new pins and they will fit perfectly. It's difficult to get out of the new grips, but it's normal to get out of the old ones. There are no light spots around the pimples, they look good and should last forever.
