The ends don't match! in Blankets and Bedspreads

Does not fit as it should. Fits on the tip of the brush. The other end does not fit the pole. Although this product is recommended by the rod manufacturer!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Can I add something

Expensive junk for blankets and bedspreads

I got this to use a Rutland 3/8 brush with a set of Rutland 1/4 fiberglass rods. All threads are flattened on the side of the 3/8 adapter. I went to my local hardware store (the one with the name that looks like a playing card) and they bought me a matching adapter for about $5.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • The list is long.

Will not work! on Bedding

Adapter does not fit brushes for Ruthland pellet stoves. 3/8" to 1/4.20 is not what you want. Brush threads are a lot smaller than this. More like 1/8". Waste of my time and money. Gather your strength and stop misleading customers. This was repeatedly mentioned in the comments but not discussed.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Angry

Works best in bedding

Quite expensive. I had to drill and use a cotter pin to keep the brush in the gear. I think the brush is NPT (tapered) threads and the gear is NPS (straight) threads. In any case, they certainly would not reconcile. After modification it works fine. I just leave it attached to the brush with the cotter pin. On the rod it balances out perfectly.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some issues

Wrong product description

First order 1/4" flex wand for 6" chimney brush. When the item arrived the 6" chimney brush was found to have a 3/8" thread. So I ordered the 3/8" to 1/4" thread adapter listed under the products on Revain. When the adapter arrived in a package labeled 1/4" thread to 3/8" thread, it was found that one end of the fitting was for a 3/8" brush thread and the other end was for a 5/8" thread fit. The company has allowed the adapter to be returned, but the buyer pays the postage and does not offer to

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
