Fixed sound problems on my laptop

I had sound problems on my laptop. At first I thought it might be the speakers or the receiver I connected it to, but after troubleshooting online I realized it was the laptop itself. One of the things I read to fix the problem was to buy an external USB sound card. I was skeptical that something like this would solve my problem, but I didn't want to take my laptop apart to install a new sound card. I've decided why not try an external USB sound card. I was hoping I wouldn't have to spend a lot

  • External components
Cons
  • No instructions

I have used 3 adapters and it is completely useless unless you only need headphone audio and no microphone. I have been working from home in a call center since March due to Covid. I was working in my chair and over time my Sabrent USB connector started to bend and fail so I bought a heavy duty aluminum Sabrent adapter as my original was amazing. I tried it and the mic didn't register, so I went back to Kohl's for a swap. The new Revain had the same issue and I filled out a ticket with Sabrent…

Ideal for microphones

I bought this adapter to improve the sound quality of my microphone. Well, that doesn't sound good. Maybe at the level of the built-in audio, maybe a little worse. You'll notice a lack of bass and penetrating highs. So, for audio/music - not great, but it's the same as any cheap USB audio adapter. But with a microphone he gets along very well. It's only a mono microphone, but that's enough. I highly recommend getting the longest possible USB cable to carry it as far away from your computer as…

Great for guitar muting with Windows 10 PC/Android and external amp

I wish I'd tried this thing sooner. I bought a laptop a while back not realizing that it doesn't have proper line in/line out jacks and instead has a headset mic/headphone jack which cannot be used as traditional sound card jacks. Fundamental error. I ended up buying an EZCAP audio jack. I figured I could use Bluetooth Esiinkin (guitar delay issue) or Miracast projection to combine the output from my Line 6 Pod Pocket. What was that cluster? So I decided to give the Sabrent Aluminum USB…
