Ideal for emergencies

Very helpful especially in an emergency! I always keep it in the trunk because it really helps a lot in emergencies. The suction power was good and very easy to use. Love it!

Not impressed: Garage and shop

The amount of fuel moved in a given time is no better than a manual siphon. When the pump is rotated horizontally it activates itself. I think the old adage that you get what you pay for is true. Wouldn't recommend it.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Back protection and comfort

Siphon works great Battery powered is the only way to work without fuss and fuss. I stick the siphon into the 5 gallon can, then the other end into the snowthrower's tank, push the button and it fills the tank without having to lift the 5 gallon can.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Good idea, bad quality.

Seems like a good idea something so simple and easy to use. (But) on the 3rd use, the long rod that goes into the gas cylinder started to leak at the joint at the bottom of the case. In total it was used for less than 10 minutes. I was hoping for a slightly longer lifespan than 3 uses. It made more fluid as described the first 2 times.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Completely defective

Arrived today, unpacked and inserted 2 size D batteries As you can see in the video, the thing is cheaply made and came completely defective. The on/off button does nothing. The pump remains switched on regardless of the switch position. Literally useless. You must unscrew the battery compartment and physically cut off the power flow to turn off the pump. Send back. Don't buy that useless piece of plastic. Clearly lack of quality control at the factory.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • unreliable

Worked at least twice before falling apart.

Do not buy this item from a seller! I bought 2 of these from different sellers and both broke within a few weeks of purchase. You will see many models with similar designs from different retailers, but they all have one thing in common. weak construction. The first one I bought died after 4 uses. The engine just stopped working. This one, only a few weeks old, is still sucking, but it's leaking and the switch has popped. MY GOD,. That's a hell of a deal we're paying for cheap Revain products…

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Modern

The thing is pure junk!

This thing is real junk. I've owned several over the years and used them in my shop. None were as bad as this one. For starters, the hoes are connected to the pump, and the hard plastic is too short for the gauzy tubing to slide over. The hose broke, it's so thin. I fixed the gorilla with glue. Then he put on a collar, and he also had to be glued. I tried pumping gasoline from a can into an old car. It took ten minutes before he started gaining gas. It was such a week that it would take a week…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Nothing

Cheap product that works

I don't care that thing isn't made more durable, it works! I used it to remove 22 gallons of old fuel from my boat and everything was perfect. The pump is at the very end of the hose, which is great. The best part of the pump was the pump end, which was less than 1.5 inches in diameter! It was inserted into my fuel tank through a hole in the fuel delivery unit. My tank is 8" deep and I've bled all but about 1/4" of the rest. I can handle it. Ensure that the device is used in an upright…
