Didn't even melt on the welder

It was a waste of money actually the metal glowed red and the rods didn't melt, I ended up taking my welder and doing the job

Pros
  • No need for solder powder
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Saker rods are scams!

I bought these spoiled "rods" and got an unnecessary wire that melted unevenly, some places melted, and a centimeter further melted the material until the rod melted. Saker doesn't seem to care about false advertising because the videos they claim are their fishing rods aren't even their videos. This is a complete scam. If you would like the actual wands from the videos you will need to contact Randy at contact@weldingprosolution.com these wands are what you need. They melt evenly, bond…

Works - Expensive - Dirty

The product works and is useful in certain situations, but very dirty. These are welds on 1" diameter square aluminum alloy poles strong enough to support a person who can hop/jump on them. Since aluminum quickly dissipates heat, it is very difficult to maintain constant heat of the welded object, but this is not directly related to the product. Poles are heavily soiled 98% of the time, causing drips, puddles, stains, discoloration and even pitting. It's not known how to get 100% consistently…

Pros
  • Welding and Soldering
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

This SAKER aluminum soldering rod should be called SUCKER because this product is really awful! Advertised as "ultra low melting point below <480°C (896°F)" which is primarily 150-200°F degrees higher than all other competitive aluminum welding/soldering rods that melt at a much lower temperature. 700°-750°F... and you'll be both surprised and delighted when you can melt this SAKER rod before the aluminum you're heating melts! Except that it takes a lot longer to heat up and you have to use…
