I like straps on accessories

Not as bulky as some webbing (Patagonia) which is a plus. The elastic loop tends to unravel when I take it off, but I wasn't even expecting a strap to come with this one. Maybe I'll sew it up when I decide where to put it. I actually used it as webbing on a car bike rack.

Pros
  • Classic nylon strap, fully adjustable with a simple buckle, the strap should be passed through the buckle starting at the narrow curved end under the teeth to keep it taut.
Cons
  • Low maintenance

Better than Patagonia Tech-Web

I really like Patagonia's Tech-Web belt - it's lasted a long time and I still have it - but I wanted other colors and not to spend $35 each. They are just as good if not better than the Patagonia version and pretty much the same.

Pros
  • 100% Nylon
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Good belt. best in straps

(review edited after receiving instructions from Samtree) Decent belt at a good price. However, there is a caveat: the photo of the belt shows that the buckle is oriented the wrong way. If you thread the belt through the buckle as shown in the picture (thread the wide end with the prongs first), the belt will slip off. The belt should be threaded through the buckle, starting at the narrow, curved end and ending under the teeth.

Pros
  • Weight (approx.): 95 g; Quantity: 1 belt;
Cons
  • Senior Citizen

It's actually more like 1 1/4 "

This is a really cheap belt. On the other hand, this is a really cheap belt. I bought it because I needed a thin belt to slip it through some of my shorts. The description says the belt is 1.1" wide. It's actually more like 1 1/4" ", so remember the length is approximately as advertised.

Pros
  • Perfect for sports, military, police, ambulance, firefighters and more! Great everyday expedition belt!
Cons
  • Not the best

Beautiful belt, durable yet supple fabric

A beautiful belt made from strong yet stretchy fabric. A nice pointed end is easy to thread into loops. Very attractive buckle, although heavier and thicker than I was hoping for. This is just for my intended use which was a flat climbing harness. This will work but is best for normal wear.

Pros
  • Material: nylon, metal alloy for buckle;
Cons
  • Style 90
