Great sponge when made right

I mean it's a sponge. But for a sponge it's good. I love the idea that I could theoretically toss this in the washing machine and reuse it, but now it's a must have. As you can see in the photo, the sponge I received turned out to be defective. Very good dishwashing sponge

I've been using these sponges for many years (half a century at least?) and they do very well for washing dishes by hand without damaging non-stick surfaces. I like the fact that one side is rougher for more stubborn food particles and the other side has a more textured finish for a better polish. The shape of the sponge also helps get into small crevices if needed. I like that they are odorless (don't know why Revain would want me to rate sponges by smell... We don't need any other chemicals).

And be aware they come 2 per pack and I'm still on my 1st sponge. Here's a trick I noticed. If the sponge is wet, add a few drops of liquid soap and let it dry. When you go back to do the dishes, the sponge will look dry until it's damp and soapy. I have also read reviews of people saying that after a certain amount of use the
