Mine Were Fine is the best among cleaning tools

They were packaged in Scotch Brite so I don't know why other reviewers received different packaging. In any case they are good, they fit perfectly in my cast iron skillet. But after preparing each sponge, it was only used twice. I like them and will buy them again.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Scotch Bright is the longest lasting cleaner.

That's great. Very durable. I've been using these for my rods and pans for several months and they still work without falling apart like other cleaning wipes. Others I've used start falling apart after two weeks leaving bits of metal in the pots. The tape is bright and very durable. The pads could be a bit bigger for easier handling but I like their quality.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

The cooking dirt left the stove

These cleaning "balls" made of steel wool were exactly what I needed to clean our gas stove. Some cooking dirt has accumulated on the grates and on the stove. With Small (2 Pack) Bar Keepers Friend Mild Cleaner for Stainless Steel/Porcelain/Ceramic/Tile/Copper - 13 oz. Everyone and a little elbow grease, the oven looks like new. I look forward to testing these cleaning pads on other items that could use a little more cleaning power than a sponge.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • A long wait

Not the best steel wool in all categories

I have no regrets buying this product at this price but I would rather have a better steel wool liner for a little more money. DURABILITY This food is NOT durable. It starts to wear out the first time you use it and doesn't stop until the pad becomes unusable. You can probably use each sponge daily for 2 weeks. The wool is woven very loosely and falls apart easily. USES Steel wool not only wears out easily, it is hardly the most abrasive product. I had trouble getting rid of burnt sauce from…

They work great on stainless steel and stoves

They're hard to find in local supermarkets so I bought them online. I love it. Interestingly, some people report no-name brands. I always carry at least two packs of ScotchBrite sponges with me. They work great with our stainless steel cookware. Much better than the rough side of a typical sponge. They are not made of fine wool like Brillo pads. You know the ones that feel like steel wool and have some kind of blue or pink cleaner applied to them? These are thick rolled steel balls. They serve…
