Description of 🔧 Sculpting Wheel: 7" All-Metal Diameter with Ball Bearings - Superior Quality for Smooth Precision

Cast metal construction will last for years. Easy rotation on heavy-duty ball bearings. Has a non-skid base. Weighted rim gives the wheel extra momentum. Concentric circles on top for easier centering of work.

Some Can Be Slow - Pottery & Ceramics

Good idea for acrylic fills. this does not rotate freely. Husband even dismantled and lubricated. Some seem to spin well and some don't. I understand this is for a clay sculpture which is heavy and spins well but doesn't need to "spin". So I'm stuck with a slow counter.

Fiction. Works great for me

Awesome. Works great for me. I create faceted glass Lazy Suzannes, and when I'm done, I superglaze each one. A tricky thing, but it's a lot easier to rotate your work without moving around your desk. I've been working with ceramics for many years and it's going really smoothly. Really good buy.

All heavy metal for stability.

I like that the all-metal pottery wheel is so heavy that it spins easily without tipping or slipping. It can be used while painting to get all sides without touching the part and to shape or smooth out clay carvings just by turning the wheel and not actually touching the parts. I just wish all pottery wheels weren't so expensive. I would love to add a kick or full size electric steering wheel to my toolbox! Maybe one day before I grow old.

Naphthalene?!

The wheel seems to work fine although I haven't been able to use it. Smells like mothballs. When it arrived my whole studio stank. Nothing I did to get rid of the smell worked. So the bike is in the garage while I wait for the smell to go away. Last time I checked he was just as strong as before. I've thought about returning it, but I'm afraid the next one will be just as offensive. So I wait and wait and wait :( Tell me why store a metal object in naphthalene balls? This is completely…

Stable and exactly what I was hoping for!

I am very happy with this bike. Just as I am used to at school. I bought it with large sculptures in mind. But I think it's really good for little things. You know how you like to make indentations at a certain angle? Well it makes it easier. Just rotate your piece as you work. Love it. It has a good rubber base to keep it in place. The size is good for what I usually work on. Although if I'm working on something big, I might temporarily stick a big bat on it. I think it will work. It's very…

Accidentally ordered 2 of these. Both arrived today so I didn't have a chance to use them. They both spin smoothly and quietly, which is nice, and they feel very solid. Other reviews mention the smell of plastic on the bottom and I have to agree it's strong. I hope it wears out pretty quickly. The bummer is that I have 2 and they both have different problems. One appears to be off center. It's not shaky, it's just that the circles appear uneven as if they weren't centered. The other is centered
