Live, stop complaining!

Read all reviews. People mainly complain that the jewelry is not suitable for crafting and repairing. Tongs cost like a cheap hamburger! If you bought them to repair/make jewelry, it must be a cheaper jewelry, otherwise you're just cheap. You get what you pay for. For my purpose they are perfect. Stop complaining about them. Spend a little more on a quality pair and rebrand your jewelry to make up for the oh cheap price.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

This is by no means a "jewelry " tong

This is by no means a "jewelry" tong. The ends are too blunt/rounded. Revain put a sticker on the package's name "Pliers with Needles" and renamed it "Jewelers Pliers" - this is a misrepresentation. I needed cheap, sharp-tipped jewelry pliers to fix computer electronics and they don't work. They appear to be decent pliers but are not designed for fine work.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I don't remember

Excited about these pliers!

We got a new mailing machine which is superior to our old machine in every way, except that the labels occasionally get stuck deep in the machine. After several attempts to pry them out with tweezers, we decided we needed our own pliers. It is great! The thin tips go exactly where we need them and the pliers are strong enough to pull out slippery labels with ease. It was a good buy!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Repair

Don't let pliers fool you

This "tool" is not professional at all. The item looks like it has been left outdoors for an extended period of time, but it has never been exposed to the elements and has been kept in my indoor tool cabinet in a drawer with my other cutting equipment the whole time. This is the only tool out of hundreds that has corroded. The handle cover is also crumbling/falling apart, but I've only held the tool two or three times. If you're looking for reliability, accuracy, and functionality, look…

Good sturdy pliers for $6

There are some very negative reviews about these pliers. Some of the comments appear to be unfounded and may reflect quality control. The pliers I have are very strong, precise and have a firm feel. Other negative reviews complain that the recording heads don't go all the way - which is a good point (haha). If you need a "real" point for jewelry repairs or other very delicate work, look elsewhere. If you want a pair of very durable tongs that will likely outlive you, THESE ARE GREAT! I got them

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Dear

These are cheap, poorly made pliers with dangerous burrs.

If you don't have a choice or don't want to spend a lot of money on pliers, you could probably do worse. But a few dollars more will make you MUCH better. These pliers are unevenly cut. They are poorly made. They're not very flat. They don't close very well. And they arrived with so many scratches that I can't use them for jewelry. They weren't deburred either (fairly standard practice even for dollar pliers). They have very sharp edges and are obviously dangerous. Expect to go through them…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Professional quality?

I guess for $4 or $5 you shouldn't expect too much but be aware that these pliers have a rough fit and finish as others have noted . There were sharp metal protrusions in various places around the hinge, and in general the tool had an uneven, poorly finished surface. Most importantly, however, was the fact that the working ends of the needle nose did not close and no part of the closing or clamping zones were flat or straight along the entire length of the 2 forceps halves. I was able to remove

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model
