Do not buy.: Tools and equipment

horror. Wouldn't buy again. Not suitable for electric golf cart batteries. Should be checked before drilling any holes in the dashboard.

Pros
  • HOW DOES THE COUNTER WORK?
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Wrong connection diagram

The meter works fine, but the connection diagram is wrong. If you connect the common tip to the switch, the counter will not reset after using and charging the batteries. You need to connect the + wire to the switch and the positive wire from the battery to the common terminal.

  • 10 LEDs
Cons

Will not reset after charging the battery.

I installed the meter directly to the batteries with key connection and positive/negative connection as directed. The meter accurately displays the battery charge. However, once the batteries have been recharged, the meter will not reset to indicate a new, full charge. It will continue to show the charge level until it is recharged. I have to unplug and plug the meter back in for it to reset and show the full charge. I ordered this multimeter to measure six 8 volt Trojan batteries.

Pros
  • VOLTAGE SCALE
Cons
  • Modern

Update: doesn't show a full charge.

Does not indicate full charge at 51.6V measured on the display. The 7th segment lights up, indicating a 70% change. (7th of 10 segments on display) Solder, do not attempt to crimp the spade connectors provided. The box packaging is a good template for cutting out the mounting hole. Update: The attached schematic doesn't work. First I connected the + wire directly to the battery according to the diagram. The display does not measure or update correctly. I then connected the + and C wires…

  • 48V TROJAN BATTERY INDICATOR
Cons
  • Exorbitant price
