all I can say is WOW! I really love this blanket. I especially like that it has a separate cover for easy washing. I got a green, rather light turquoise, but that's what I was hoping for. It looks the same as in the picture. There are also small ties on the corners and sides of the cover that keep the comforter in place.

Last year I bought a 12 pound blanket. I realized I need 15 pounds. It's a blanket! The weight is great! It's nice and cozy. You don't need a sheet or anything, it's perfect the way it is. I LOVE this blanket. I knew I needed that "hug" feeling and it's a great feeling! PS My dog loves it too, but I didn't think to add another 15lbs to the comforter because he's sitting on me now! haha

As a child I slept under very heavy blankets and I still remember the time when I slept best. And now that I got this blanket, I feel the same way again. I sleep much deeper than before.
