SELF CUT SYSTEM 2 0 Lighted Educational Review

I really wanted this product to work. We ordered the unlit one first but this one is much better but now we have ordered the same item twice and both times it arrived used. When I first ordered the power adapter was bent and the whole mirror was covered in fingerprints. When we framed it the second time, the entire light bar was dimmed. Not impressed after spending $150 and the item arrived damaged and doesn't look new.

Product arrived as promised, excellent quality. Unpacking was easy, the mirrors are wrapped in foam for protection and there are sturdy door hooks. Instructions are not required. The mirrors appear to be of the highest quality and LEDs are a must as most rooms are not equipped with the lighting needed for tight, even dimming. The more I use it, the more I realize that it's a Chinese made POS - unfortunately I can't find anything better (prebuilt). This is the 2nd and I was lucky I didn't send the original back (before I got the 2nd) because it took parts from both to make a working unit. Problems with design and production in China: 1. This is an amazing idea. I don't have to pay barbers here in LA, very expensive gas, and no tips. I can say I need to get better but I'm doing a pretty decent job. The problem I have found is very cheap materials with this system, it looks cheap, it feels cheap, even the lighting outside is all Home Depot LED bulbs, they don't even waste energy to turn on the light hide. When this product came out I was thrilled. This took about as long as it took me to fully open it. The mirrors were dirty and looked like someone had tried to clean them but couldn't. I cleaned them 4 times and couldn't remove the streaks. For the price you would think they come new and clean.
