beautiful bedspread

just received my bedspread. Very pretty. I have the light blue and it's perfect. This is a very good spread. I love it. All as in the pictures except one. Tailoring is different than what I saw in the photos. Since it doesn't spoil the overall picture, I'll reconsider. The seam is not a straight stitch as shown in the photos, but a houndstooth stitch. It looks very pretty on my king-size four-poster bed. The spread is large enough for sufficient overhang. I'm happy.

Even better than I was hoping for

I've never liked how the queen bed was set up and the duvets weren't big enough. So I thought I'd order a king, but I noticed it said 'big queen' on it. This is no joke! It's the size of a double bed, reaching almost to the floor on each side and long enough to completely cover my pillows, which also reach to the end of my bed. It's as close to perfection as it gets! I love this bedding so much! This is a really big size which is so hard to find for a king bed that is high off the floor. It's a bit of a learning curve on how to make a bed so it doesn't drag across the floor, but it's nice when it works. I bought beige linen and paired it with maroon sheets and that's exactly what I was hoping for. I accidentally destroyed it with an ink pen in the dryer and will buy it again as soon as possible. I chose this one because the pattern looked like it would go with the chocolate sheets we have.

We were looking for a lighter cover for the summer months. I chose this one because the pattern looked like it would go with some of the chocolate leaves we have with paisley damask. Knots and loops in the embroidery

The bedspread is beautiful. I chose a salmon color with a darker salmon thread for the top seam. I like that it covers the bottom and is in the corners. My disappointment is how poor the top stitching is in several areas. The seams on the bottom of the case are flawless. The errors on the top could be where the ends of the threads were left and simply untied while continuing the embroidery. But some of them just look like the bobbin voltage on the sewing machine has been turned off and the top…
